A fine silver and tortoiseshell rectangular jewellery box, the hinged lid inlaid with pique work, a central rococo cartouche and sprays of flowers to the corners, the serpentine moulded border to a silver mount with thumbpiece, revealing a cream silk padded interior, on cast open scroll foliage feet to the corners 8in. (20cm.) wide.
