the baluster body, etched and rock crystal carved with acanthus leaves, on a square stepped base, with leaf-capped scroll handles and fruiting vine rim, height 31cm.

A 3 piece silver tea set, consisting of the pot, creamer and sugar. Designed with repousse and hand chased decor. Flame finial. Made in London, year 1864 by William Comyns. Each piece appropriatly marked. Set is crested with a “lion head atop a crown” crest.
Pot – 8″ long x 5″ wide x 5 3/4″ tall. weighs 337 grams.
Sugar – 5″ wide x 3″ tall, 135 grams.
Creamer – 4″ long x 2 1/2″ tall, 83 grams.
Total weight is 556 grams

A Silver Entree Dish, flat base and a cavity with a lid to put hot water in it.
Flattened rim with applied gadrooned pattern and two silver and ivory handles.
The raised domed cover has narrow flared rim that fit inside the rim of the dish.
The cover and the dish are engraved with a small raised elephant trunk.

The oval beveled edged hand mirror is surrounded by a hand pierced border which depicts rabbits ,flowers, peacocks, cherubs and two rustic looking gentlemen.
The handle has a bird on one side and a butterfly on the other, the butt of the handle has a wonderfully detailed head of a bearded man.
There are a set of hallmarks that read..
W.C, Lion, Leopards head, duty mark, M.
