An Edwardian basket of shaped oval form with a beaded border and slat-pierced decoration, with applied neo-classical swags, festoons and urn motifs, with a lower leaf frieze, the whole on compressed ball feet, the centre engraved with a short presentation inscription, by William Comyns, London 1907, 17″ long, (approx 77oz).
