A silver and tortoiseshell kidney-shaped jewellery box,
by William Comyns, London 1911,
the cover inlaid with an Adamesque patera hung with a bell husk garland and musical trophies tied with a ribbon, with relief bell husk frame, plain sides, raised on four leaf capped legs, cream velvet lined interior, length 23cm.

A fine silver and tortoiseshell rectangular jewellery box, the hinged lid inlaid with pique work, a central rococo cartouche and sprays of flowers to the corners, the serpentine moulded border to a silver mount with thumbpiece, revealing a cream silk padded interior, on cast open scroll foliage feet to the corners 8in. (20cm.) wide.
