A cased set of six Victorian sterling silver buttons

A cased set of six Victorian sterling silver buttons depicting the profile of an Art Nouveau Girl with flowing hair and floral garland. No hallmarks but each button tests as sterling and is stamped with the Registered Design Number RD 352928 on the back. This design was registered in 1900 by London silversmiths William Comyns & Sons Ltd formerly of Beak Street, London W1. Each button measures approx. 1.7 cm in diameter and weighs approx. 2.5 grams (ie well below the legal required weight for hallmarking).
The hard red leather covered presentation case measures approx. 17 x 3.5 cm. Lined with purple velvet velvet and blue silk on which is printed the retailing jeweller’s details: EDWARDS & SONS, 161 REGENT ST. (LONDON). Push button catch. Excellent undamaged condition.
