A silver desk inkstand, maker Charles & Richard Comyns, London 1921, of plain dished rounded square form raised upon four knurl feet, centred by a deep rounded well surmounted by a lift-off cylindrical ink-pot, the cover with pierced roundel, base engraved with a stag and presentation inscription dated 1944, 7 3/4″ square, 18ozs 3dwts total
