A Victorian silver and silver gilt dessert stand, the circular glass dish etched with an anthemion border, with a garland band, 9in (23cm), the stand with cast goats head on monopodia and anthemions, the triform base engraved a bull`s head with crossed axes crest and a central artichoke finial. Makers Stephen Smith & William Nicholson, London 1862. 20.8oz (676gm).
