A Victorian Heart Shaped Box; the top with crimped edges, chased with a rural scene featuring a water wheel with a town in the far distance.
The base decorated with foiliage in a C scroll arrangement; with corresponding crimped edges.
In its original blue silk lined leather box, the lid marked in gilt with the retailers name : C.J.Hill, 510 Oxford St, Late Catchpole & Williams.

A sterling silver and shell inkstand with hinged ink reservoir, hinged nib pot and detachable shell pen rest. On ‘mythical dolphin’ feet.
All the silver is fully hallmarked except the pen rest.
