This solid silver bell is cast in three separate parts, all of which are hallmarked London 1924. The maker’s mark (C&R over C – Charles & Richard Comyns) is on the main body only.
It stands 4.5 inches (11.5cm) high and weighs 7 troy oz.

A table snuff box of George 111 design, octagonal with engraved borders, the cover set with a gilt metal medallion with portraits of King Ferdinand and Qeen Marie of Romania and presentation inscription “to Lt Colonel Ronald Waterhouse.” Presented by the king and Queen of Romania to Colonel Waterhouse, private secretary and equerry to HRH Duke of York. Bucharest 15/10/1922.
