A Victorian table lighter of heart form with cast silver handles, unusually featuring a man in a hat playing a guitar or bango. The body of the lighter die stamped with Bird motifs, C scrolls etc. The base weighted with lead.

A heart shaped Torch Lighter with an arrow passing though diagonally, the feather flight used as a lighter. Decorated with masks, C scrolls and foliage. Central cartouche, with EMC monogram, C scroll handles with dragon surmount. Lead weighted. London HM 1890 Height 4 3/8 inch. Dreweatt Neate Lot 433 23/4/97
